The proximity to Roman and Greek archeological sites influenced my artistic imagination which I later developed during my studies. I was attracted to computerized graphics early on. In fact, I conducted my first experiments on an Atari St back in 1986, later publishing my first works in specialized computer graphics magazines. Music is one of my biggest passions. Developing artwork for musicians was my way of staying in touch with the music scene. So I started out by designing artwork for demos of local bands - drawing logos and putting together collages.

In 2003, after having created the…

I met guys from Ensiferum in the mid 90´s, and I did early logos for them, and the logo they are using now. After that I did a cover for the their ´97-demo, so that was the beginning in this area. After that the word just spread, and more and more people got to know my work.

I usually just start to play with ideas and see where it leads. It’s hard to describe my drawing technique, never actually thought of it. Worst case scenario is when clients say “Do something, we trust you”. It doesn't mean anything, and they give me ideas after I have done something. So it's frustrating, and usually,…

I was approached by bands worked with after they saw my photography and asked if I would be willing to lend my designs to their artwork, promotional items, etc.

They believed, as I do, that life is fundamentally mysterious, and artists must both respect and preserve this profound mystery. Symbolists insisted on the use of suggestion rather than explicitness, symbols rather than description. They believed that “the creation of a mood is as important as the transmission of information; (it must also) seek to engage the entire mind and personality of the viewer by appealing to the viewer’s…

I was a painter and a decorator before becoming an illustrator. I began to create artworks for bands from three years. At the beginning, it happened realizing tributes for some bands and then making advertising. Then I started to get the first commissions, the first was by a death metal band.

I think it is very varied in representation, from the realistic to the fantastic. The style changes every time depending on the requests or the idea it evokes. When I have to create something, I know that it is already in my mind, like an innate vision lying in my brain, which just needs an incentive…

I learned most of my basic Photoshop techniques from the internet and then further developed them myself over the years. I started creating album artworks for my own band back in highschool. We were just a bunch of teenagers and we didn’t have much money so I decided to learn how to make album covers to save us some money. Eventually, it became a great passion and here I am.

My technique is mixed media. A combination of photo manipulation and digital painting.  Although I’m leaning more towards photo manipulation since I’m better at it. Most of the time, I still use the good old Adobe…

I discovered a passion for visual arts and illustration when I was a child. When I was 17 years old, I start to work as a graphic artist in a local newspaper in Las Flores, my hometown. In the late 80’s I moved from my little town to Buenos Aires and worked as a graphic designer for a print house for five years. In the 90s, I turned to digital and worked as graphic designer and illustrator for several projects in the music industry for companies like MCA, Universal, RoadRunner, Polygram, BMG, Fonovisa, Word Entertainment and Canzion. In 2002, I began to produce my own personal artwork. Now…

I was born in August 14th, 1985, in San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, a small town in the center of Chile. I was raised by my mother alone and lived my childhood with her and 2 brothers in an old house in the rural village of Larmahue, very isolated from civilization. I attended a catholic male school until 5th grade to later be educated at home. I always spent a lot of time on drawing and writing. My father is a more or less known artist but I never had any relation with him. I never attended any special art classes or education. I started working on an early age due to poor financial situation…

I've been drawing ever since I can remember. Recreating various movie monsters and comic/ cartoon characters I idolized. When I finally started making music and performing in bands, the necessity for visuals became imminent. Album art, show posters and merch design naturally became a way to further the creative process. Making the transition to the digital realm (Photoshop/ Illustrator, etc.) on my own. Endless Youtube tutorials and assistance from more adept peers. As time went on, I became fortunate enough to collaborate with other bands/ venues/ promoters on their own endeavors.

I use…
