Carach Angren

Carach Angren

Our upcoming album called ‘Dance And Laugh Amongst The Rotten’ is another horror concept album similar to all work we have been releasing so far. On this album, we tell the tale about a girl using an ouija board and through that inviting spirits telling their tales. By the end of the album, after all the tales have been told we learn what happened to the girl and an epic clue is revealed. I won’t go into the details about that because I’d like the listener to find out for themselves. I also made sure the listener is somehow part of the story, a detail that really excites me.

Sabbath Assembly

Sabbath Assembly

‘Rites of Passage’ by Jamie Myers

Sabbath Assembly began in 2009 as a project to perform the hymns of the Process Church of the Final Judgment, a 60's and 70's cult, originally in association with the release of the book ‘Love Sex Fear Death’ (Feral House). Four albums - Restored to One, Eno ot Derotser, Ye Are Gods, and Quaternity - provide a glimpse into the inner workings of the Process Church, as well as the budding imagination of a band finding its own voice in the occult rock vein. Finally, with a solid line-up on the fifth self-titled release (2015), Sabbath Assembly presented all…

Disbelief

Disbelief

Our music is Death Metal like our record company writes on the stickers on our new CD, “massive, colossal Death Metal power”. We're sounding unique, we've built up over the years our own tools to make music. We're working with atmosphere and messages in our songs, so we're free in our own Disbelief Universum.

We've started to work for ‘The Symbol of Death’ in 2010 with the first songs. Then we've to stop the songwriting process for a long time because of some lineup changes. It took a long time to find the right drummer. We've found Fab Regmann as a drummer, he was the perfect one for us to…

Order

Order

Our music begins with me riffing away (Anders Odden) and Kjetil Manheim. When we enough stuff we like we present it to the rest of the band and we hammer together arrangements. It's a very basic and old school way of doing things. The only difference is the quality of the rehearsal “tapes” which is always recorded - we are too old to remember what we are doing from rehearsal to rehearsal.

‘Lex Amentiae’ is “the law of the insane” in Latin. It reflects our current world of religious and political extremes - all the songs reflect our anti-authoritarian world view whether this is coming from…
