Pete Alander is a graphic designer and graphic design teacher from Finland with more than 16 years of experience from the field of design and marketing. Besides being a nice teacher during daytime, in the nights he becomes a raving metal maniac who is passionate about metal and especially it's visual language. He holds no bars when it comes to explore new bands, their logos and album art. His expertise is working in the music industry. Pete has been lucky enough to have some really cool clients from world famous rock stars to local bands still trying to get into the top. He is probably best known from working with bands and musicians such as K.K. Downing of Judas Priest, Yngwie Malmsteen, Sandalinas, Furnaze, Hostile, and many others but being a passionate designer he also gets excited about typographics, modern arts and information graphics. He also does graphic design for print and web, corporate identities, books and even the “boring” stuff gets him thrilled. He run his own little one man army called Bandmill. In his own website www.bandmill.net Pete writes about the best and the worst album covers, state of music industry and design.
