Creation must flow like fire, free, chaotic and passionate
My parents taught me to love art and culture. I have always drawn and have been interested in sculpture and music. I studied several years in an Art School and have always taught myself through courses (drawing, design, photography, craftsmanship) in an autodidact way. Through the years I have been changing my form of expression and lately the mean I use is photography. Ever since I was very young I was attracted by heavy metal, fascinated mainly by the covers of Derek Riggs and Ken Kelly. Many of my friends are involved in heavy music so I stated doing little jobs for some of them.
In photography my technique is very basic, normally using only natural light and working on my own. I do the editing in Photoshop. Depending on the result required I do the editing with a natural or “artificial” way, or use the photographs to create a photo-montage. In illustration I normally use a combined technique pencil, watercolour and ink.
The tool I use most is my brain. Beside that I use a reflex camera, computers, graphic tablet, paper and pen. At the time of assessing a piece of work, I do not care about the means but only about the result. To me art is liberation and personal development and I believe there is no room for rules. I imagine and dream a lot, I see Works of artists of around the world of all type of styles, devour cinema, smoke marijuana.
I grew up by the hand of Lovecraft, Howard and Tolkien. I am mainly interested in fantasy and the dark side even though I am not closed to other options. There are many motives for inspiration, from popular or classical mythology to the day to day.
