VIOLENTOPIA – ROTTENNESS

We are a Mexican-American band founded in the late 90s in Cancun, Mexico. The band has toured the world over the last 20 years and played alongside bands such as Suffocation, Cephalic Carnage, Malignancy, Brutal Truth, Fuck the Facts and many more. Rottenness recently released a new album, ‘Violentopia,’ via Selfmadegod Records (Poland).
We sacrifice many beers and tacos before we do anything. Rottenness has existed for a long time; overall, Anti-human sums up the band’s philosophical stance well enough.
We started at home as usual, lots of the 60s, 70s and 80s rock blasting every day thanks to our parents; we love music and are a grind.
Music is our vice. Travelling too we love to travel around the world, meet with our friends, and play cool shows. Our biggest vice is Van Halen’s records on repeat. Music is everything. Music is life. Music is Lemmy.
We like rock and roll bands; we enjoy listening to a good tune no matter what kind of music as long we can have fun. We can quickly jump from death metal to glam rock or electronic noise; we are fans of music as everybody out there.
