Concerning F41.0 the most influential tunes definitely came from mid-nineties extreme metal publications. Records like Ulver ‘Bergtatt’, Lunar Aurora ‘Ars Moriendi’, the whole Nagelfar discography and so on. So many timeless masterpieces had been created back then, and it would blast the whole interview to describe my passion towards many of those interpreters. Many of them genuinely created a unique audible fire which will always be carried within me. Nevertheless, I might not forget the huge impact bands like Muse or the Smashing Pumpkins had on me in the early millennium years. I´m sure they influenced my style to compose music with their climax oriented, yet easily accessible music.
When writing, things feel right for me. The tunes and words I create are based on thoughts subordinate to the project’s conception. So sometimes things happen if I might say so. I´m not able to sit down and write some really weird black metal stuff today, you know.
I am fortunate to be surrounded by truly gifted talents who help me to establish my vision of how my music should be visualised. Concerning the last two albums, I trusted each artist Sascha Weber who created the visuals for ‘Near Life Experiences’ and ‘WAEIK’, responsible for the outstanding “BÜRDE” artwork and simply gave me some keywords of the conception. I think a release should always carry its spirit through the triunity of tunes, words and visuals.
Every outputs principle is to publish a musically, lyrically and visually closed concept. So usually the mental background is set before I start to write the first notes. As mentioned before thing happen from then on and I’m really not able to tell if – and if yes which – levers are set in motion consciously to create the music I feel.
Top 10 Bands that inspired my music?

For me, the word “Belief” is mostly connected to terms like “hope” or “trust”. Terms that always will separate people by their opinion concerning elemental questions of our being. A question of “how to handle life itself” I guess. To be honest, I´m pretty split up when it comes to those things. On the one hand, I feel that there is nothing to believe in. Simply because I miss any accurate explanation which proves contrary. On the other hand, some kind of spiritual force leading our souls to something bigger and greater than we can imagine might surely be romantic somehow. We´ll find out sooner or later.
