ALL WILL BOW – REIGN OF GLORY

We are Reign of Glory, a hard rock/heavy metal band that seeks to glorify the living God through our music and lyrics. We formed in early 2022 with Robyn Kyle Basauri (Red Sea, Die Happy) on vocals, Roger Dale Martin (Vengeance Rising, Die Happy) on bass, Jim Chaffin (The Crucified, Deliverance) on drums and Nick Layton (FireWolfe, Q5) on guitars. Our debut album, ‘All Will Bow,’ was released on August 12th, 2022, on Roxx Records.
No creative rituals. Our only ritual is to work hard to write the best music we can. We are firmly in the Christian camp, our life first and foremost, and then our music flows from our faith.
I’m sure some people have a cult-like fixation with heavy metal in general or specific bands in particular, but we don’t. Although we love the over-the-top imagery and magic of metal, we also realise these are just people creating music. Kiss was my first trip down the metal pathway; the first Kiss album made me want to dress up like the band and play air guitar.
Music is far more than just entertainment; it can be just that too. Music can reach the soul. And if that’s true, it’s important as creators to think about what messages we are sending through our music and lyrics that can influence the spiritual realm. Some of us in the band like Motown, R&B, punk rock, and old-school country music!
