S.I.N. by Kirill Bobrik
I think ‘S.I.N.’ it’s a more serious and very close to the ideal sound and style of the Veld. We were working a very hard and extended time on every element on this work. More fast, more epic atmosphere, more dark, more ravenous and much more aggressive and blasphemous aura. Without a doubt it’s more strongest musical stuff and character of the whole album. Aggressive sound, total blasphemy, neverending savagery of the songs. Demonic blasphemy in the raw. True metal for serious people.
On the two front covers, we can see the possessed woman with terrible sins which break out of its interior. And yes album name has two meanings, “sin” and “spawned in nothingness” emerging from abbreviation. I just specifically described my ideas to two artists, Nick Morte who is working on LP art and Vladimir “Smerdulak” Chebakov for CD art. Also, Smerdulak working on our previous album art “DAEMONIC: The Art Of Dantalian”.
This album does not have any single concept. Every song has her aura and character. “Spawned In Nothingness” name reflects the existence of humanity as a whole on earth. And lyrical themes on album affect aspects of modern life, human nature, religious lies, jealousy, stupidity, believe in nothing, duplicity, ignorance and many many other things. Like always we touched the lying religious themes, hate to lying and hypocritical people. Catholic lies believe in nothing, and that destroy you with his false books.
Metal has many genres, and thousands of bands from all the world don’t even affect this niche — just unprincipled music without any spiritual component. I don’t think what we are living now in a “better” world. The whole world went crazy. Oil wars, business church, corruption is everywhere, territory wars, etc… If sometime in history such figures or any events existed, anyway it was tied to someone’s advantage or vanity. It has nothing to do with a better life what is confirmed by centuries.
