Mystical Beasts by Hemarach is a visually striking art book that brings Thai-style horror and mythology to life through beautifully detailed illustrations. With no accompanying text, the images themselves tell the story—depicting classic creatures, eerie spirits, and a diverse array of mythical animals and monsters. Each piece is carefully crafted, blending traditional Thai aesthetics with imaginative, haunting designs that invite viewers to linger on every detail.

The book takes its name from Mystical Beasts, a legendary creature said to originate in the Himalayas. Ancient sources describe Mystical Beasts as a hybrid being, combining the power of a lion with the elegance of a swan—though in some accounts it appears in the form of a swan or even a crocodile. Much like this mythical figure, the collection merges grace with terror, offering a rare glimpse into a darkly fantastical bestiary shaped by both tradition and invention.
