The Book of Satan is the 4th installment of Maxime Taccardi's demented art and poetry, starting with The Book of Death and followed by The Book of Demons and The Book of Shadows. There is a fine line between good and evil, which humans have proved to cross back and forth for as long as they've been around. The title refers to the Devil as the outcast, the duality between what is morally acceptable and the opposite, the betrayal and the search for freedom. It also echoes the Marriage of Heaven and Hell by William Blake, whom Maxime Taccardi dramatically admires. The Book of Satan is entirely written with the artist's blood spread throughout the 66 symbolic pages.
